The basmala on f. 2b: ... which would mean an addition to the original work. The references to the Tashkent catalogue given below may give an explanation -N.B. that all 10 volumes of the Tashkent -catalogue have to be consulted. Cf. The Tashkent catalogue II: 1803,2 and III: 2202, 2453-2467, 2469, 2474, 2480, 2484 with references to other copies and pertinent literature. The author would be Nuruddin Abdurrahman Djami, of Tadjik descent.

Origin
Date: 1346/1927-1928. The year of the copying does not agree with the appearance of the book, and may have been added later. The quality of the paper and the whole appearance of the book would indicate early 19th century.

Acquired by Rev. Gustaf Ahlbert in Kashghar in the 1930's and presented to Gunnar Jarring.Acquisition
The ms. was part of the Jarring collection of Eastern Turkistan manuscripts donated to the Lund University Library in 1982.
