ff. 4a-40b repaired with paper of a more recent date; ff. 1b-3a and 349a-354a rewritten on another kind of paper and by another hand than the original copy. The two separate leaves at the end belongs to the original. One of them is no doubt the last page of the original ms. It states that this was written in the year 1220, in the year of the fish, on the 17th of the month ... on a Thursday at noon-time, i.e. 1805. Cf. Prov. 16, 18, 19, 83, 159, 242, 260, 262, 326.

Extent: ff. 357 ; 325 x 210mm.

Decoration

Binding

Indigenous reddish-brown leather binding, lined on the back and with one single ornament on the back cover.

Foliation

The ms. is foliated by G. Jarring; f. 100A (between ff. 100 and 101) is smaller in size, and foliated by cataloguer in 2006; ff. 356-357 are loose and foliated by cataloguer in 2006.

Bought by the Swedish missionary Maja Bergquist in Yangi Hisar on September 23rd, 1936 (signature on the inside of the front cover). Presented to Gunnar Jarring, March 31st, 1973.

Acquisition

The ms. was part of the Jarring collection of Eastern Turkistan manuscripts donated to the Lund University Library in 1982.
