History
Origin
The date given on f. 23b for the first treatise viz. 928/1521-1522 no doubt is valid for the second one too, as the ductus, paper and general condition points to the same epoch.
Provenance
On the lower part of most of the pages it is written "the vaqf of Yangi Altun-luq", which might indicate that it once belonged to a vaqf-institution with this name. The Swedish missionary Lars Erik Högberg acquired the ms. in Kashghar around 1900; on f. 1a written in black ink "Högberg IX".
Acquisition
The ms. was bought by the Lund University Library from L. E. Högberg's widow Sigrid Högberg in the 1930's.
