Probably a translation or adaption of some part of the Shahname dealing with i.a. Shah Hushang. Cf. Rieu Add. 18, 885 (p. 219b); Rossi, Vaticana, Vat. Tureo 129.

Seals in Arabic script and in Chinese. Owner's name on f. 204a. No date, probably late 19th century. Acquired by Rev. Gustaf Ahlbert in Kashghar in the 1930's; his own hand on f. 26; on same page price indication in lead pencil: 24 t(anga). Later presented to Gunnar Jarring.
Acquisition
The ms. was part of the Jarring collection of Eastern Turkistan manuscripts donated to the Lund University Library in 1982.
